I. SUMMARY STATEMENT
Oversees and participates in the smooth operation of the hotel complex. Supports the Regional Management in all aspects of human resources. Participates in meeting financial goals and upholds quality of product through leadership in all areas of customer satisfaction. The Property Manager ensures that all policies and procedures are followed to uphold company standards.
II. JOB OVERVIEW
1. Leading the hotel team members in such a way to increase hotel profitability and customer satisfaction. Use hotel reviews and all guest feedback to encourage, promote & train the staff accordingly.
2. Use creativity, insight, social networks, business relationships and other to drive rooms sales and create efficient hotel economics through good business decisions.
3. Oversees Human Resources (with the support of the Regional Management Team) to include: scheduling interviews, complete hiring & ensure proper documentation is received, provide professional training to their respective department, complete performance evaluations and ultimately work to build a team & culture that thrives in a fast paced environment. Property Manager oversees all schedules and is held accountable to labor control, making it very important to schedule according to business levels.
4. Oversee General Accounting to include: review daily close-out reports, night audit, credit card settlements and prepare cash deposits. Ensure nightly reports are being sent. Work with Regional Management on completing deposits & property managers month-end packet.
5. Ensure all Accounts Receivables have proper applications on file and are billed on a timely basis. Work with AR contacts to collect any outstanding invoices owed.
6. Oversees the activities of all staff members to ensure a professional work environment that adheres to hotel policies and procedures.
7. Ensure that brand and quality standards are met throughout the organization.
8. Work with Regional Management Staff to conduct safety and security training programs.
9. Work with department managers to ensure we inspect rooms so that our cleanliness and maintenance goals are met.
