Hotel Resident Manager oversees daily activities on the hotel property including front desk operations, reservations, and concierge and customer services. Remains on-site and on-call to respond to issues, security threats, or hotel emergencies. Being a Hotel Resident Manager also responsible for operational efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. Oversees property maintenance function. Additionally, Hotel Resident Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a hotel manager. The Hotel Resident Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Hotel Resident Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Cobblestone Hotel & Suites Soda Springs, ID is looking for a skilled maintenance technician to join our friendly team! The Maintenance Technician ensures that guests are provided with a safe and well-maintained property by maintaining and making repairs to the physical structures of the building and maintaining grounds by performing various duties. Some job functions include, but are not limited to routine and preventative maintenance of guest rooms, Swimming pool & spa service, public and exterior spaces, and an inspection of equipment, and working with and maintaining professional relationships with our vendors.
Preferred qualifications include previous experience in the hospitality industry, Pool and Spa Certification (CPO), and possible plumbing/HVAC experience. This position is 24-32 hours a week, with some possible on-call hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
