    Job Summary

    Whether they’re traveling near or far, our guests know when they stay at a TA hotel, they’ll be met by welcoming team members who deliver an outstanding guest experience. The Hotel Manager is a key member of the hotel team responsible for leading/supervising the hotel staff and managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel through the verification and analysis of guest satisfaction systems and financial reports. They will provide guests with an accommodating experience by coordinating amenities and responding to the guest’s needs. The Hotel Manager ensures we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!

    • Serve each guest courteously, quickly and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant and enthusiastic attitude
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel through the verification and analysis of guest satisfaction systems and financial reports. Conduct ongoing evaluations and investigate complaints
    • Prepare financial reports for management that explain operational effectiveness, trends and variances
    • Assist in the development of long and short-range financial objectives consistent with the Company’s expectations
    • Execute marketing, sales, and operational activities, producing results that meet or exceed the hotel’s business plan
    • Recruit, hire, train and retain high-quality team members according and create a culture where team members feel respected and recognized for their achievements
    • Help guests check into their rooms and coordinate room reservations
    • Provide information to guests about room rates, housekeeping schedules, what services the hotel offers, the various amenities, etc.
    • Process transactions of customers on a point-of-sale (POS) register; maintain a clean desk/office area
    • Know and follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and customers
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

    • Basic computer/POS knowledge required
    • Cash handling skills required
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills

    Pay Range

    $COMPENSATION.RANGE annually

    Typical Physical Demands

    In this role, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear.  Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending over, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally. The team member is occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs and/or move heavy objects.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.     Work Environment

    While performing these duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
