    Summary: Cleans all public spaces within the Hotel and RV Park Club House.

    The intent of this position description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by this position. Employee(s) may be required to perform position-related tasks other than those specifically listed in this description.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Maintains all public areas such as the main lobby, administrative offices, business conference area, vending machine rooms, elevator lobbies, stairwells, hallways, and RV Park Clubhouse
    • Inspects room for cleanliness and appearance and signifies the completion of room on the daily assignment sheet.
    • Washes guestroom windows, windows, and doors in public spaces, and administrative offices.
    • Maintains the public showers, cleaning and sanitizing after each guest. 
    • Records and reports maintenance problems found in guestrooms and RV Park
    • Report to leadership any park issues of note and also report any RV that appears to be in disrepair.
    • Operates dishwasher to clean and sterilize glassware used in guestrooms.
    • Operates cleaning equipment such as carpet extractors.
    • Performs deep cleaning projects as assigned.
    • Assists guests with check-in kiosks when needed.
    • Performs Laundry Attendant and/or Room Attendant duties when necessary.
    • Assists with deep cleaning of rooms and periodic cleaning projects when necessary.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Knowledge of:

    • Techniques and methods used in basic housekeeping and light maintenance procedures.
    • Safety precautions as they pertain to basic housekeeping and light maintenance procedures.

    Required Skill in:

    • Determining the difference between clean and dirty areas.
    • Performing cleaning techniques.
    • Communicating both orally and in writing.
    • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.

    Education, Experience, Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of cleaning and light maintenance work experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
    • High-security gaming license issued by the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission. 
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Due to the nature of the interactions with other employees and the public we serve, employees may be required to provide documentation of or receive certain health vaccinations.

    Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:

    • Work is performed in an office and hotel environment with frequent exposure to tobacco smoke. 
    • Work is subject to frequent standing and walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crawling, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
    • Work is subject to frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms.
    • Occasionally exposed to blood and bodily fluids.
    • Frequently exposed to hazardous cleaning materials and chemicals.
    • Will be required to pass a pre-employment physical.

    Equipment and Tools Utilized:

    • Equipment utilized includes standard office equipment, telephone, materials, supplies, and tools used in cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, office and lobby spaces, audio/video equipment, two-way radio, and carts, golf carts, vacuums, and other tools necessary to perform cleaning duties.
