House Supervisor provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management. Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise. Being a House Supervisor supervises nurses and staff and takes administrative responsibilities and ensures adequate staffing for the oncoming shift. Handles occurrences during the shift, ensuring appropriate documentation and communication. Additionally, House Supervisor determines the issues to be referred to the Administrator on call. Collaborates with patients, family members and physicians to ensure needs are met and problems are resolved. Typically requires a bachelor's degree of nursing. Typically reports to manager or head of a unit/department. Requires certification as a registered nurse (RN). The Lead Nurse oversees the general nursing care for clients at Selah House and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day nursing components of Selah House. Position performs these duties under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing. Duties include completing assessments, administering and ordering/refilling medications per physicians' orders, reviewing the physicians' orders and medical record reviews, recording complaints, observing client behavior and collecting/reviewing lab samples/results, while supervising the other nursing staff on the same.
This is a 40-hour position with on-call expectations. There is an expectation that the Lead Nurse will work on the floor based on the unit needs. The Lead Nurse will be responsible for daily operations of the unit.

Within the organization: Maintains frequent and close working relationships with clients, Management, Clinical Director, facility leadership, peers and vendors.
Outside the organization: May initiate and maintain working relationships with clinical providers, referral partners and vendors as needed and directed.

What We Are Seeking:
Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree from an accredited school of Nursing or higher; Current IN Nursing License (RN). 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred. At least 1 year of leadership experience required.

Position requires incumbent to have a valid drivers license and vehicle insurance.
