Summary:

Talbert House's Community Care in Warren/Clinton County is seeking a passionate prevention professional to lead and manage the Prevention Services Team. Our Prevention Supervisor will provide guidance for staff regarding direct services to both local school and community programming. The ideal candidate would have experience utilizing evidence-based curriculums with diverse populations and possess an OCPS or higher, or the ability to obtain that credential within a year. This position would also be involved in community education events that could require occasional evening and weekend work. This position is funded in part by the Mental Health Recovery Board which services Warren and Clinton counties, so developing and maintaining that relationship is key. Position Description:

• Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operational functions of the site/location in accordance with the contract, licensing, certification, accreditation, and agency standards
• Maintain site/location effectively while adhering to regulatory guidelines and ensuring safety, security, and environmental compliance
• Plan for necessary staff coverage, inventory and maintenance to ensure smooth operations and meeting of deadlines/goals
• May assist with budget development and ensure operation within budget
• Maintain program and client workflow and delegate effectively
• Collaborate with Clinical Supervisor and Associate Director on initiatives for effective site operations
• Assist in enhancing collaboration and cooperation between service lines to ensure service integration
• Direct and supervise personnel by ensuring training needs are met and supervision occurs
• Assure compliance with: site audits, peer reviews, and agency Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives
• Generate outcome data and use for improvement
• Monitor and complete all reports according to contract, licensing, certification and accreditation standards
• Follow protocols in responding to, reporting and resolving unusual incidents
• Mitigate risk using intervention skills and anticipate/prevent crisis
• Respond to and perform work as necessary to ensure site/location deadlines and operational goals are met
• Will participate in the hiring process of all reporting staff
