House Supervisor provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management. Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise. Being a House Supervisor supervises nurses and staff and takes administrative responsibilities and ensures adequate staffing for the oncoming shift. Handles occurrences during the shift, ensuring appropriate documentation and communication. Additionally, House Supervisor determines the issues to be referred to the Administrator on call. Collaborates with patients, family members and physicians to ensure needs are met and problems are resolved. Typically requires a bachelor's degree of nursing. Typically reports to manager or head of a unit/department. Requires certification as a registered nurse (RN). The House Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a House Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. This position is perfect for those looking for experience within adolescent mental health, behavioral health, or psychology. Experience as a case manager, adolescent therapist, mental health therapist, program lead, behavioral health counselor, mental health professional or clinical administrator is useful. Experience in clinical interventions, crisis work, and clinical supervision is preferred.
Benefits:
Compensation: In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected starting salary for this position is $70,193.76 per year. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors as permitted by Colorado law.
Schedule: Generally, Monday - Friday during normal business hours. However, at times, accommodations may need to be made to meet the individual needs of a client, their family, staff members, and the program overall. This may indicate the need for working hours later in the evening. Some flexibility around scheduling may be required. However, Shiloh House leadership works diligently alongside Clinicians and Supervisors to develop schedules that align with personal needs and self-care!
