Job Description:

Assistant Field Supervisor/Driver works together, in a limited capacity, with Field Supervisors/Driver to help he most disadvantage, severe and vulnerable job seekers returning to the workforce. The activities of the Assistant Field Supervisor/Driver are marginable. Their duties may include conducting administrative tasks, form documentation, and maintaining staff training. They also monitor staff productivity during the weekend. Assistant Field Supervisors/Drivers are responsible for the safety of their crew members once their shifts begin.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize The Elijah House vehicles to transports work crews
• Maintain the weekend operations of the litter abatement program
• Ensure the crew is scheduled to full capacity for weekend work
• Maintain and evaluate the weekend performance of work crew participants
• Maintain the safety of staff members during the weekend schedule
• Work with Field Supervisor to build internal support systems
• Maintain and submit necessary documentation
• Perform any other duties within the scope of this position
• Serve as an example of appropriate employee behavior and encourage growth and self-sufficiency.

Ability to:

• Maintain accurate records.
• Write clear and understandable reports.
• Operate a computer and department software in the performance of assigned work.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Maintain and observe all safety precautions and practices.
• Use good communication skills and show leadership abilities

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.

Education and Minimum Qualification:

• Must possess a High School diploma or a GED.
• Must be very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.

Work authorization/Security Clearance Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
