House Supervisor provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management. Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise. Being a House Supervisor supervises nurses and staff and takes administrative responsibilities and ensures adequate staffing for the oncoming shift. Handles occurrences during the shift, ensuring appropriate documentation and communication. Additionally, House Supervisor determines the issues to be referred to the Administrator on call. Collaborates with patients, family members and physicians to ensure needs are met and problems are resolved. Typically requires a bachelor's degree of nursing. Typically reports to manager or head of a unit/department. Requires certification as a registered nurse (RN). The House Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a House Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We have an immediate opening for a seasonal, full-time, front-of-house Supervisor at our Lodge restaurant.
Our ideal applicant has at least 3 years of experience in restaurant operations, is an excellent communicator, good at promoting teamwork, and can work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
The Supervisor works at the direction of the Food & Beverage Manager and the Food & Beverage Director to deliver the highest level of service to our guests and support the front-of-house team in doing the same.
Pay is $20.00 - $25.00/hr based on skills and experience. This is a full-time, seasonal position starting in March and working through our busy summer season. Depending on individual performance and business needs at the end of the summer, there is potential for continued employment.
Seasonal staff are not eligible for health insurance and other benefits but do receive some great perks, including access to all Ranch amenities including fitness centers, sport courts, pools and hot tubs, free golf, and discounts at our restaurants, retail outlets and at our spa.
