Financially stable, well established company is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team.

Hours for the Dispatcher are 2nd/3rd shift 5:00pm to 5:00am, rotating schedule with overtime.

Rate of Pay is $19.00 TO $20.00 per hour with an additional $1.50 per hour night differential.

Essential Functions for the Dispatcher Include:

• Scheduling drivers to make freight deliveries
• Communicating with customer service representatives about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
• Planning pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed.
• Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pickup times.
• Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply.
• Reviewing driver logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times.
• Monitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Logging customer shipping schedules and complaints.

Minimum Required Qualifications for the Dispatcher Include:

• Must be customer service oriented. A
• Able to communication in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written.
• Previous dispatch experience is preferred.
• Must have good problem solving skills and able to make decisions.
