Housekeeping Manager manages the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Inspects facilities, recommends upgrades when needed. Being a Housekeeping Manager establishes workflows, standard procedures and quality control plans. Responsible for the maintenance of vendor/supplier relationship. Additionally, Housekeeping Manager may require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Housekeeping Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Housekeeping Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     In this role, you will assist in managing daily housekeeping operations managing a team of 15-20 team members and reporting directly to the General Manager.

    The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of housekeeping leadership experience with excellent time management and organizational skills. 

    What will I be doing?

    As a Housekeeping Manager, you would be responsible for managing daily housekeeping operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

    Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
    Manage daily housekeeping operations to include, but not limited to, maintaining cleanliness, service and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
    Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
    Manage daily systems use and management, cost controls and overall profitability, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.
    Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward.
    Oversee and conduct room inspections.
    Recruit, interview and train team members.
