Little Sweden Resort is a luxury vacation home rental property that is looking for an Housekeeping Manager!!
We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality with a strong background in housekeeping management.
Responsibilities:
-This candidate will work well independently, communicate/collaborate ideas with the housekeeping assistants, lead by example, and lead/guide/train a great team!!
- Manage and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
- Launder linens and ensure an adequate supply of cleaning materials
- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure standards are met
- Handle customer complaints and special requests promptly
- Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Duties include but may not be limited to:
· Quality control inspections
. Stripping assigned units in preparation for cleaning
· Coaching/correcting housekeepers
· Managing supply organization and ordering
· Staff scheduling and assigning of duties
· Ordering supplies for new builds
- Ordering/Inventory- of supplies
· Training new housekeeping and laundry staff
· Cleaning public areas or units as needed
· Completing laundry as needed
· Set up of new rental homes
.Cleaning units as needed
· Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning products/ practices
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a hotel setting is a plus
