Housekeeping Manager manages the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. The Retail & Housekeeping Manager oversees and manages all the Sky Ranch retail outlets located at the Horn Creek facility in a God-honoring and professional manner.
The major areas of responsibility are customer service, operational setup and shutdown, staffing, training, product selection, purchasing and negotiating costs with vendors, operational maintenance and additional responsibilities as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
continually train staff on offering excellent customer service; product knowledge; cleanliness; and point-of-sale system operational skills.
Arrange merchandise displays, rotating and rearranging as necessary to create an inviting environment for guests.
Maintain awareness of retail's daily gross sales and profitability; operate store to remain within sales and expense budgets.
Maintain retail price structure versus cost in all retail outlets.
Determine specific product offerings from apparel and gifts to food and beverage. Hold design meetings for product reviews.
Evaluate input from other departments. Negotiate prices with vendors based on annual volume. Order / obtain necessary product.
Inspect inventory levels. Prepare and approve Purchase Order requisitions for inventory and supply purchases related to retail.
