Housekeeping Manager manages the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. MUST be very flexible in schedule and changes that arise and most importantly, DEPENDABLE!
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
- Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to provide exceptional service
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and cooperation
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Handle guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of custodial and industrial cleaning practices is a plus
- Experience with floor care (carpet cleaning, waxing, etc.) is desirable
