Housekeeping Supervisor supervises the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Responsible for standards' establishment, staff training, schedule/resource coordination, workflow inspection, inventory maintenance and equipment supplies. Being a Housekeeping Supervisor may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Housekeeping Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Working as a Housekeeper with our environmental services team, you will:- Cleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned resident apartments and common areas daily
- Washes and folds laundry, distributes clean linens and towels and maintains a stocked cleaning cart
- Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
- Make a significant contribution to the quality of life of our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency
- Actively participates as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals
- Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living
