Responsible for standards' establishment, staff training, schedule/resource coordination, workflow inspection, inventory maintenance and equipment supplies. Being a Housekeeping Supervisor may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Housekeeping Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in residential and commercial settings. Duties:
- Perform general housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other living areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Launder and iron clothes as needed
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is necessary
- Follow established safety procedures while using cleaning chemicals and operating equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of housekeeping management techniques is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Basic cooking skills for occasional meal preparation
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning is an advantage
