JOB SUMMARY: Oversees and coordinates housekeeping services for the residents and in common areas ensuring that work is performed within established guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for the day-to-day management of all housekeeping and custodial staff including, but not limited to scheduling, recruiting, training and performance management.
Conducts quality assurance inspections of all common areas at least twice weekly, and spot checks staff work to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards, keeping records of shedules, work perofrmance and quality assurance reports.
Responsible for providing adequate inventory of cleaning and other required materials for all the housekeeping staff; scheduling and meeting with vendors as needed.
Primary responder to residents’ housekeeping inquiries and requests. May perform housekeeping services when short staffed or accidents or special needs arise.
The ideal candidate will be an active listener, empathetic, problem-solver, with effective communication skills to work with residents, team members and vendors. Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
