Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the Housekeeping department to ensure environmental compliance in accordance to Federal, State and Local ordinance and regulations. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will supervise and coordinate the housekeeping program to maintain the nursing center in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition.

Housekeeping Supervisor Requirements

• Highschool diploma or equivalency preferred.
• One year’s work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
