Deputy Director

The Chillicothe Metropolitan Housing Authority invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Deputy Director. Chillicothe is a city of over 21,000 residents located along the Scioto River 45 miles south of Columbus. Chillicothe is the county seat of Ross County.

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Deputy Director oversees the operations of the Chillicothe Metropolitan Housing Authority's Housing Programs; supervises and evaluates employees assigned to the programs; ensures compliance with applicable rules and/or regulations; responds to inquiries, questions, or concerns; oversees planning, direction, and coordination of all functions and activities related to the purchasing of goods and services for CMHA; assists in CMHA’s acquisition requirements and principal overseer of all contract negotiations with external solicitors and vendors.

Completion of college level courses in business administration, public administration, or other related discipline, plus prior experience in HCV and PH program supervision or management, or equivalent. An associate degree and 5 years’ experience is required, human resources education or experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position. This is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $62,288.00 - $91,395.20 annually.
