    Key Responsibilities:

    • Utilize grant writing skills to secure funding for our programs and initiatives.

    • Serve as a certified housing counselor, providing guidance and support to individuals seeking affordable housing solutions.
    • Manage budgets and financial resources, making strategic decisions to optimize financial performance.
    • Lead fundraising efforts to support our organization's mission and goals.
    • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with public officials and community stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate strong management skills to oversee staff and organizational operations effectively.
    • Effectively communicate our organization's mission, values, and impact to various stakeholders.
    • Possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel locally as needed.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of MPACT Pro is preferred.
    • Coordinate events and initiatives to engage the community and promote our organization's objectives.
    • Network effectively to expand our organization's reach and impact.
    • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of fair housing laws and regulations.
    • Serve as a non-voting board member, providing strategic guidance and support.
    • Collaborate with board members and stakeholders to align organizational strategies with their expectations.
    • Possess basic accounting skills to oversee financial management and reporting.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work, business management, or related fields.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Willingness to travel locally as needed.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with event coordination and networking.
    • Commitment to promoting fair housing practices and social justice.
