Housing Director oversees all aspects of on-campus housing for students. Assigns residence hall managers to each dormitory. Being a Housing Director reviews and updates all housing policies to ensure the safety of residents. May also be in charge of an off-campus housing program. Reports To Executive Director
Duties and Responsibilities
· Answer phones and greet visitors
· Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
· Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings
· Collate and distribute mail
· Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence.
· Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
· Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
· Manage Accounts Receivables Accounts
· Ensuring Work Orders are complete in a timely manner for tenants.
· Direct communications between colleagues and customers
· Organize and schedules events.
· Maintaining office equipment.
· Fill vacant units and potentially setting the budget for the property.
· Ensure make ready units are ready for move in.
· Shop or Order supplies as needed for Office Operations
· Schedule And Perform Annual and Random Inspections
· Attend trainings, seminars, along with video trainings as requested by Executive Director for the enhancement of job knowledge and Bay City Housing Authority Daily Operations.
· Create Work Orders
· Ability to maintain waitlist according to HUD Guidelines
· Create system for tenant move in and move out procedures.
· Patrol and Walk properties twice weekly.
· Make bank deposits.
· Collect Maintenance Payroll Invoices
· Ability to assist tenants in a crisis situation
Skills And Qualifications
Education and Training
· 2 Years Experience Office Management
· 1 Year experience Accounts Receivables
· 1 Year Experience Property Management
· Accounting or any other related field and relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply
· 3 Letters of reference
· Ability to pass a background check
· Clean driving record (must submit to executive Director within (3) working days of employment
