NeighborWorks Housing Solutions, NHS, is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to connecting individuals and families to safe, decent, affordable housing. The MRVP Program Representative maintains a caseload and the requisite file documentation in compliance with program regulations. This includes providing assistance to MRVP participants and property managers relative to eligibility, briefing, lease-up, and ongoing voucher administration.

Essential Responsibilities:
· Provide professional customer service to MRVP participants and property managers by responding promptly to inquiries, phone calls, emails, faxes, and other forms of correspondence
· Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding work-related issues, client records and NHS information
· Determine applicant eligibility in accordance with program regulations
· Deliver briefings to educate eligible applicants relative to his/her respective responsibilities and obligations as a voucher holder including fair housing laws. Prepare briefing packets for mailing
· Assist in dispute resolution aimed at stabilizing tenancies
· Process annual or biennial recertifications as required
· Process interim share changes upon request
· Complete rent reasonableness determinations via affordable housing platform
· Maintain participant files and electronic records as prescribed by EOHLC Administration plan and Massachusetts regulations
· Work cooperatively with members of the Leased Housing Department to ensure high quality service coordination
· Monitor compliance by all parties and follow up on allegations of fraud, programs abuse, unreported income, collection of overpayments, and or other program violations
· Process participant terminations for failure to comply with program regulations. This includes preparing paperwork and participating in grievance hearings
· Support the management team’s efforts to improve customer service, minimize errors, and operate efficiently
· Attend trainings as needed
Qualifications/Skills:
· Voucher administration experience preferred
· Promote an equitable, diverse, and inclusive environment
· Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Products and comfortable learning new software
· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail, multi-task, and work productively with limited supervision
· Preference given to bi-lingual applicants
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires ability to regularly lift 15 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Work is performed in an office environment.
