Housing Program Manager oversees operations of a housing program. Sets budget and policies, hires and trains staff, and oversees occupancy eligibility/operations. Duties:
- Assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day operations of Tax Credit property with income averaging
- Manage tenant relations, including addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify any maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities, including leases and contracts
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial reports
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules
- Perform data entry and file management tasks to ensure accurate and organized documentation
- Provide administrative support to the property management team
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with contract management processes and procedures
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The successful candidate will have a strong background in office administration, facilities management, and customer service. Experience with property maintenance is preferred.
