Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a Human Resources Assistant. The HR Assistant works as part of a team to provide high quality human resources transactional services to applicants and staff of Lewis-Palmer School District 38. The HR Assistant handles transactions involving screening, selection, on-boarding, certification, transfers, separations, data collection and reporting, and other HR transactional functions for all staff. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, they will be essential in helping to accomplish the goals and objectives of the department. They will play a key role in fostering and maintaining positive and open communication among employees at all levels of the organization.
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Three years of experience in Human Resources or demonstrated customer service experience, or experience with new hire paperwork; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. This position is full-time, year-round and eligible for the full benefits package. The starting hourly rate is not negotiable, but between $16.88 and $19.32 per hour depending on experience. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
