Fire Sprinkler Technician

  • We seek a self-motivated, customer service-oriented Fire Sprinkler Technician. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and a good communicator. This important position will establish rapport and build positive relationships with our customers.   Job Responsibilities:   Responsible for water-based inspections, installations, and repair of Wet, Dry, Pre-action, Deluge and Foam systems    Responsible for identifying trouble areas and performing service in an efficient and professional manner to ensure that sprinkler systems are operating properly   Sprinkler and Backflow Systems Installation, Repair, & Service:                  Install/hang sprinkler systems and their components per NFPA and engineering guidelines.    Install or replace wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems as needed.   Repair and/or replace all sprinkler systems components.   .  Perform disassembly, repair, and installation of sprinkler and backflow valves (once receiving license). Perform inspection of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems.           Job Requirements:    1-3 years field experience in Fire Sprinkler and Backflow systems service.    Must possess a state Sprinkler License, NICET Certification and/or Backflow License.         Preferred Qualifications    3-5 years of proven success in performance of Sprinkler inspection, installation, and service is service is highly preferred.
