AgriNorthwest is seeking a seasonal Human Resources Clerk to join our team to provide administrative support and HR services to the local farm operation. This temporary position offers a full-time hourly schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively oversee personnel policies, federal and state regulatory compliance, recruiting, benefits, employee development and training.
- Conduct various HR programs such as employee relations, training, return-to-work, and compensation/benefits.
- Serve as primary point of contact for AGNW employees and external individuals regarding a variety of HR inquiries.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand competencies required to fulfill their hiring needs.
- Stay current on recent employment law changes.
- Assist in establishing systems to facilitate compliance.
- Gather, collect, organize, analyze, and evaluate HR data.
- Maintain records and essential paperwork processes for HRIS program.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelor’s preferred.
- Minimum 2 years related experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity and ability to learn HRIS and talent management systems.
- Strong demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
