Human Resources Assistant position. This is a corporate-level position and can be based out of our office locations in Spencer, Sanborn, or Hull, IA.
The Human Resources Assistant will provide general clerical and administrative support to Human Resources and Payroll. This position will frequently interact with a wide range of internal and external customers throughout each day.
General responsibilities:
- Accurately maintain records and documentation for Human Resources and Payroll.
- Assign incoming applications and respond to applicant inquiries in a timely manner.
- Handle all data with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Serve as a resource for answering employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and other programs administered through the Human Resources Department.
- Assist with new employee onboarding and processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Two year degree is preferred, but not required.
- 3 – 5 years of prior business experience is preferred.
- The ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with a wide range of internal and external customers.
- The right candidate must have strong organizational skills and be adept with Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Hours: Schedule will be Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week.
Compensation: This is position is paid hourly. Typical hourly rate will range from $16.00 - $20.00/hour depending upon qualifications and experience.
