Job Summary:
ProActive Behavioral Health is seeking an Assistant Human Resource Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in various HR functions, assisting with recruitment, employee relations, training, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Support HR staff in organizing and conducting new employee orientations and onboarding processes.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management processes.
Coordinate training and development programs, including scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and evaluating effectiveness.
Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Collaborate with the HR team on special projects and initiatives as needed.
Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork, preparing reports, and maintaining HR-related documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Associate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in HR or administrative support role is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is desirable.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
