Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist 

• Oversee the administration of benefits programs
• Develop and drive a thoughtful onboarding program for new team members
• Act as a trusted advisor to influence the business, deliver constructive advice, diagnose and resolve issues, and positively influence change
• Create compelling job descriptions
• Administer performance management and talent development cycles
• Create initiatives to drive employee engagement and enablement  
• Research best practices and stay on top of legal developments, emerging trends, technological advancements, and benchmark comparisons to recommend best-in-class HR practices
• Oversee data integrity, maintenance, and optimization of HRIS system
• Assess, develop/source, and facilitate employee training initiatives  
• Create social media content
• Help support and resolve employee relations issues while ensuring compliance with relevant and current HR legal standards including FMLA, ADA, and EEO

Qualifications of the Human Resources Generalist 

• 3-5 years of HR experience in a progressive organization that values people, inclusivity, and development
• Proven knowledge of all core HR processes including performance management, leadership development, talent management, compensation, succession planning, training and organizational development
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Proactive problem-solver who thrives in an environment that is open to change
• Expertise with HRIS, Payroll, MS Office solutions (Paycor and SuccessFactors a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree
