Now Hiring! Human Resources Generalist
Compensation: 45,000 – 55,000 a year.
Job summary: The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) is responsible for the day-to-day consideration of all compliance activities of personnel management. This position will report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer. The HRG is responsible for ensuring agency-wide compliance with all personnel requirements mandated by licensing entities, agency policies, and state and federal employment regulations. The HRG will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities and will help with important functions such as staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits.

What You’ll do:
- Develop and administer human resources procedures to ensure compliance across all divisions of ASN.
- Help to ensure human resources strategies align with the organizational business goals.
- Assist other departmental staff to ensure efficient operations for the organization.
- Ensure personnel files are maintained in accordance with all licensing and governmental requirements.
- Manage employee evaluations and work with Department and Training staff to assign plans of action training goals.
- Ensure employee compensation and benefits are provided appropriately and serve as a resource for all employees in understanding and accessing appropriate benefits and compensation.
- Work with all staff to ensure understanding of compensation and benefit options including health insurance, annuity, additional insurance options and dental insurance.
- Ensure/Process all Worker's Compensation claims according to all applicable policies and regulations.
- Ensure/Process all unemployment claims according to all applicable policies and regulations.
- Ensure all employee garnishments, payroll deductions, FMLA, LOA requests, and other external needs are met appropriately.
- Ensure employee communications are appropriate, delivered timely, accurately, and according to current procedures.
- Work with all other department leadership and ensure all aspects of employee oversight and support are efficiently carried out.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
What You’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a job-related field of study.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in related areas.
- Possess, or have the willingness to obtain, a certificate in human resources.
