About the Position   NRHA seeks qualified candidates for the position of Senior Human Resources Generalist. The position administers human resource policies, programs, and procedures for an assigned division or unit.  The position is responsible for developing, recommending, and administering standard employment, compensation, benefit, and training policies, programs, and procedures as well as advising and training staff in policies and practices. Serves as a technical specialist for training and employment functions. Key responsibilities include: Administering programs including recruitment and employment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. Interpreting and administering NRHA Human Resources policies. Reviewing and updating HR policies, procedures, and practices. Advising management on policy and employee relations matters to cultivate an HR culture of effective employee relations and manager partnership. Administering training programs provided by third parties. Conducting employee training as needed. Participating in department-wide projects as assigned. Preparing memoranda, letters, and reports related to work assignments. Updating the HRMS database and applicant tracking system. About the Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have Six or more years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources management. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field. SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources regulation, reporting, and compliance requirements is preferred. Solid understanding/experience with human resources processes, benefits, compensation, full cycle recruiting, and handling employee relations issues. Strong computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS systems. NRHA offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The current pay range for this job is from $60,000 to $79,872.   A candidate's compensation offer will be determined by the candidate's work history and skill sets. The benefit package assigned to this position include retirement, health, dental, vision, life insurance, Public Service Loan Forgiveness, and much more. NRHA offers a total of $3,000 in bonus payments to new hires in this position.  A 180-day employment period is required to qualify for the full bonus amount.
