EHC is currently looking for a Human Resources Manager for a client located in Orange, TX.
Position Purpose/Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is committed to supporting our client as they continue to be the leader in extrusion die and feedblock quality and technology by managing, as well as providing leadership and support, throughout the full employment life cycle, including but not limited to talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, benefits, compliance, HRIS, etc.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Overall strategic partner while directing and managing all aspects of Human Resources including, but not limited to HRIS, talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, personnel records, employee relations, performance management, compensation management, benefits, leave of absence, employee engagement, organizational development, succession planning, compliance, FLSA/ADA/FMLA/Title VII/AAP/EEO, etc.
- Align the Human Resources function with the needs, values, and culture of the organization.
- Develop and maintain competitive compensation and benefit plan designs that support recruitment and employee retention.
- Establish, evaluate, improve, and implement policies and procedures while mitigating risks and protecting the organization.
- Being an advocate for change while building employees and teams to improve performance.
- Provide guidance to all levels of management and employees on human resources issues and employment law while developing new programs and initiatives to meet the ever-changing needs of management and organization.
- Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain open-door relations with all levels of employees and provide Human Resources Policy guidance and interpretation.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues while conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Hire, motivate, and lead a high-performing team through coaching, top-tier talent retention, and directed recruiting efforts.
- Supervises staff, including training, providing work direction, problem-solving assistance, reviewing performance, recommending salary increases, promotions, transfers, demotions, or terminations.
- Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
At a minimum, the Human Resources Manager must have a bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, or equivalent field of study, along with 7 years of progressive responsibilities and proven Human Resources experience in areas such as talent acquisition, systems management such as HRIS, performance management, applicant tracking, compliance, organizational development, etc. preferably within a dispersed multi-location organization(s).
