Manages key HR functions, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, payroll, and employee records. Being a Human Resources Manager develops and delivers internal staff communications. Evaluates, selects, and manages relationships with vendors to provide supplemental HR processes and services. Additionally, Human Resources Manager maintains employee records of pay, benefits, accidents, performance, and other activities and files reporting required to comply with labor laws and regulations. Primary Purpose:
The Human Resources Manager leads and directs the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department for the Fairfield plant and corporate headquarters. This role manages the processes for hiring and onboarding, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The Human Resources Manager also oversees the safety responsibilities for the assigned location. The Human Resources Manager must collaborate with corporate and plant leadership on dynamic and challenging business initiatives and decisions, to function as an advisor and a partner. The Human Resources Manager will be the sole HR point of contact and resource for employees at the location, while being part of a larger organizational human resources team. This role requires the Human Resources Manager to work onsite full-time to best serve the leadership team and the employees.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time salaried position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Expectations of 45 hours per week, to be worked during normal business hours. This position is full time in-office. The position is in Fairfield, NJ.
Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements of this position are similar to those found in an office position and include standing/sitting for extended periods of time, operating traditional office equipment, i.e., computer, printer, etc, and the ability to safely walk to, from and around the warehouse on even walking surfaces. This role will be often exposed to temperatures between 33-50 degrees Fahrenheit.
