Human Resources Supervisor administers human resources policies and programs and directs the human resources staff in managing and implementing programs that support employee productivity and company objectives. Provides day-to-day oversight of various human resources functions critical to the organization, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, payroll, and employee records. Being a Human Resources Supervisor supervises and trains staff that provides operational and administrative support for recruiting, onboarding, and other hr functions and programs. Develops consistent and standard procedures to process employment, attendance, and other records and to ensure accuracy. Additionally, Human Resources Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Human Resources Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions.     Human Resources Coordinator

    SUMMARY:
    Responsible for supporting the recruitment process, creating/maintaining job descriptions.  Maintaining candidate database, coordinate interviews and assist with onboarding.   Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and excellent organizational skills are essential.

    REPORTS TO: 
    HR Director  

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Maintain Applicant Tracking System, candidate database and scheduling phone and in person interviews.
    • Understand hiring needs of each position, work with managers in sourcing ideal candidates.
    • Prepare, revise, edit and maintain groups of job descriptions for multiple operating companies.
    • Organize candidates’ data (resumes, applications etc.)
    • Prepare offer letters for review by HR Director
    • Coordinate new hires with IT and Safety leaders.
    • Experience using professional Social Networks (Linked In, Facebook, etc.) 
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel
    • Effective communication skills and ability to follow up with managers.
    • Excellent organizational skills, database management skills and applicant tracking.  
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Attention to detail – proper spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure in emails, offer letters and routine correspondence.
    • Minimum of 1-3 years in coordinator/administrative role

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    The work environment and physical characteristics are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.  Refer to the “Essential and Marginal Function Analysis” statement for a complete description of essential functions and functional requirements.

    HOURS:  Part Time 
    20 /- hours per week Monday – Thursday.  Office, Remote or Hybrid

    Education: 
    High School Diploma required  (AA or BA degree preferred)
