We are seeking a motivated and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate and oversee the recruitment process, from job posting and candidate screening to conducting interviews and making job offers.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a resource for employees regarding inquiries related to benefits and HR policies.
- Conduct training sessions on topics such as diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and performance management.
- Manage performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on setting goals and conducting evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports for management as needed.
- Create weekly schedules for all offices
- Track employee absenteeism's and PTO
**Qualifications:**
- 2 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
