Human Resources Supervisor administers human resources policies and programs and directs the human resources staff in managing and implementing programs that support employee productivity and company objectives. Provides day-to-day oversight of various human resources functions critical to the organization, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, payroll, and employee records. Being a Human Resources Supervisor supervises and trains staff that provides operational and administrative support for recruiting, onboarding, and other hr functions and programs. Develops consistent and standard procedures to process employment, attendance, and other records and to ensure accuracy. Additionally, Human Resources Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Human Resources Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Human Resources Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. Billing Supervisor

  • Conscientious, goal-oriented, revenue-driven, highly accurate and motivated professional. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: supervising billing staff; evaluating and revising billing processes and procedures; monitoring the revenue cycle activities and resolving issues; overseeing the preparation of billing and invoices; maintaining insurance documents and contracts; ensuring accurate and timely staff credentialing; ensuring billing operations are performed in an accurate and timely manner; making necessary billing-related updates in the electronic health record; ensuring follow-up on unpaid claims and appealing as needed.

    REQUIRED ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

    • Computer experience including, but not limited to: electronic health records, word processing, and spreadsheet applications
    • Experience in medical coding and billing; familiarity with behavioral healthcare and medical terminology
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage relationships with various Insurance payers
    • Responsible use of confidential information
    • High standards related to compliance with policies and procedures
    • Ability to multi-task and work courteously and respectfully with fellow employees, clients and patients

    WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supervision of billing staff
    • Evaluation and revision of billing processes
    • Oversight of billing and collections from start to finish
    • Oversight of insurance regulations and requirements
    • Maintaining billing-related sections of the ECR
    • Regularly attend Leadership Team meetings, Supervisor Training, and continuing education training modules and sessions
    • Perform additional duties as requested by the Supervisor or Executive Director

    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Associates degree in medical coding, business, information technology, or related field. 4-year degree preferred.

    2. Related work experience – 5 years. (Relevant experience beyond 5 years may be considered an acceptable substitute for post-high school education).

    3. Ability to work independently.

    4. Demonstrated capacity to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

    5. Good oral and written communication skills.

    6. Ability to work within agency guidelines and policies, state and federal codes.

    7. Advanced computer skills – word processing, spreadsheets, accounting software, Microsoft Outlook.

    HOURS: 40 hours per week, M-F
