Shift- M-F, 8am start.
Duration- 6 weeks
Required-- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Three years' experience in benefits or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years benefit administration experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Duties-- Under the general direction of the Manager, Benefits, provides benefits analysis and program administration services. Researches, collects and analyzes internal and external data for benefits decision making. Implements and administers ongoing benefit projects and initiatives and serves as a subject matter expert regarding Health Welfare and/or Retirement benefits issues.
- Participates in projects and initiatives which include one or more of the following tasks: assists in creating communication materials, assists with training of Caregiver Service Center staff for projects they are supporting, offers prompt solutions for manager and employee questions and looks for areas of improvement in processes and procedures and offers recommendations.
- Handles cases in Service Now system and assists the Caregiver Service Center to close cases in a timely manner.
- Participates in third-party benefit surveys; compiles, analyzes and evaluates survey data results and compares results to our benefit offerings.
- Reviews information on the Caregiver Resource Center and in the Payroll system for accuracy. Develops content for updates when necessary.
- Develops project plans and assists the Benefits Manager with the administration of open enrollment, benefit statement preparation, tuition reimbursement, analysis of error reports and vendor payment.
- Reviews and monitors wellness program offerings based on formal and informal participant feedback and implements program and service improvements based on the trends identified.
- Collaborates with other departments as appropriate to develop and maintain seamless system-wide employee health and well-being processes. Represents Benefits/Wellness at various internal and external events, i.e., Wellbeing Ambassador meetings. Test's information systems to ensure proper setup of benefit plan information. Works with technical programmers and system analysts to maintain and upgrade information systems based on company needs.

- Provides analysis of benefit costs for the development of the benefits budget.
- Assists with the quarterly 403b and Defined Contribution Plan funding. Also assists Caregivers who participate in the Defined Benefit retirement plans, retirement paperwork, estimates and meetings to address any questions. Works closely with our Retirement vendor.
- Handles invoices, purchase orders, contracts and the Meditrac system. Also works closely with Accounts payable and receivable for payments and checks.
- Evaluates benefit programs for compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations.
- Participates in the design and implementation of new benefit programs and systems. Participates in special projects as assigned by the Manager, Benefits.
- Demonstrated knowledge of benefit theories and concepts including design, development and administration of benefit programs including Health Welfare, Defined Benefit, and Defined Compensation plans; benefit surveys; Federal, State and local law and regulation compliance regarding benefits
