Our Environmental Services Department is seeking experienced Environmental Services Worker for long term care nursing facility in East Greenbush, NY area.
Environmental Services Worker Responsibilities and Duties
- Performing routine housekeeping, porter, and laundry duties. Maintain proper cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
. Clean vacant rooms and general areas assigned. Daily floor care and garbage removal.
. Process the linen for the facility and personal resident’s clothing.
- Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
Environmental Services Worker Qualifications
- Prior experience in Environmental Services preferred; we will provide on-the-job training for entry-level candidates. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
- Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, and other personnel and the public.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
