· Benefits administration for health, dental, vision, and 401K;
· Organize and implement training programs for employee development;
· Serves as the Designated Compliance Liaison for employees;
· Responsible for processing payroll biweekly;
· Compile wage surveys as needed to remain competitive;
· Participates in Safety Meetings for OSHA compliance ;
· Promote job safety;
· Responsible for Workers Compensation compliance and reporting of work injuries;
· Knowledge of state and federal laws;
· Resolve and advise management team how to appropriately handle employee relations issues;
· Respond to employee inquiries and concerns in a timely fashion;
· Report non-compliance regarding payroll and/or HR issues to the Director of Human Resources;
· Recruitment- as needed;
· On-boarding, orientation, and employment verification of new employees;
· Knowledgeable of laws, regulations and guidelines governing personnel administration;
· Knowledge of local labor market conditions;
· Knowledge of current wages/salaries;
· Knowledge of the requirements of each position;
· Ability to work independently, problem solves and makes decisions as necessary;
· Possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public;
· Tracking COBRA and FMLA;
