Hyperbaric Technician jobs in Casper, WY

• • Set up, operate, and monitor hyperbaric chambers during treatment sessions.
  • Ensure proper functioning of hyperbaric equipment, including pressure systems, gas delivery systems, and monitoring devices.
  • Conduct pre-treatment safety checks and equipment inspections.
  • Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for hyperbaric treatments.
  • Run Multi Place and Mono Place chambers in an outpatient setting.
  • Monitor patients during treatments to ensure their well-being and respond to any emergencies or discomfort.
  • Educate patients on the hyperbaric treatment process, addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any adverse reactions.
  • Document chamber operations, pressure readings, and other relevant information.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  • Respond promptly to any emergencies or complications during hyperbaric treatments.
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and integrate hyperbaric treatments into overall patient care plans.
  • Provide updates on patient progress and collaborate on adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and performance checks.
  • Stay informed about advances in hyperbaric medicine and implement best practices.

• • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.

• • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited hyperbaric technician training program.
  • Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) certification.
  • Previous experience working as a hyperbaric technician or in a related healthcare field.
  • Familiarity with hyperbaric chamber operations and safety protocols.

• • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces.
