Hyperbaric Technician administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the direction of a physician. Documents required treatment details including equipment settings, treatment duration, and patient response. Being a Hyperbaric Technician operates hyperbaric chamber and other hyperbaric support systems in accordance to all applicable safety standards and regulations. Performs cleaning of chamber and equipment according to infection control policies. Additionally, Hyperbaric Technician performs equipment checks and system maintenance. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hyperbaric Technician works under moderate supervision. Responsibilities:
We are looking for nurses to join our highly specialized wound care and hyperbaric medicine team! You will be involved in the assessment and treatment of a variety of wound types including pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, non-healing surgical wounds and more. You will provide care for both preoperative and postoperative ostomy patients including site marking, post-op assessment, patient education, and ongoing care as needed.
This is a unique opportunity to provide care in both the inpatient and outpatient care settings! Our wound care clinic is on-site at Clovis Community, meaning you will consistently benefit from the proximity and resources available from a hospital setting. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary physicians including plastic surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, internal medicine, vascular surgery, OB/GYN and more! Our wound care physicians have additional training and expertise and bring a high level of clinical care to our patient population.
