Hyperbaric Technician administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the direction of a physician. Documents required treatment details including equipment settings, treatment duration, and patient response. Being a Hyperbaric Technician operates hyperbaric chamber and other hyperbaric support systems in accordance to all applicable safety standards and regulations. Performs cleaning of chamber and equipment according to infection control policies. Additionally, Hyperbaric Technician performs equipment checks and system maintenance. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hyperbaric Technician works under moderate supervision. Perform FAI/CVI (Annual) inspections on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, light-duty vehicles, and any other company-owned equipment in accordance with all federal, state, and local legal and regulatory agencies.
