Hyperbaric Technician administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the direction of a physician. Documents required treatment details including equipment settings, treatment duration, and patient response. Being a Hyperbaric Technician operates hyperbaric chamber and other hyperbaric support systems in accordance to all applicable safety standards and regulations. Performs cleaning of chamber and equipment according to infection control policies. Additionally, Hyperbaric Technician performs equipment checks and system maintenance. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hyperbaric Technician works under moderate supervision. Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Hyperbaric, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine is seeking a Pulmonary and Hyperbaric Medicine Physician Assistant to join our team.
This full-time position will provide opportunities for patient care on the pulmonology and hyperbaric services for a dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate.
The PA should have at least 2-3 years of clinical experience. An exceptional new PA graduate may be considered. Specific experience with hyperbaric medicine is not required. Training will be provided once hired.

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $130,000 - $160,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans.
