IRA Accounts Supervisor oversees operations and transactions involving IRAs. Monitors opening and closing of accounts, account distributions, rollovers, and customer inquiries. Being an IRA Accounts Supervisor may handle large or complex accounts. Ensures compliance with governmental regulations, including account over-contribution and early distributions. Additionally, IRA Accounts Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to:
Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
- Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
- Reconciling bank statements and accounts
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports
- Conducting basic research and analysis on financial data
- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns
- Assisting with the preparation of annual review
- Communicating with clients and vendors regarding financial matters
- Gathering timecards, calculating and processing Payroll
- Calculating payroll tax and making tax deposits
- Processing new hire paperwork
- Maintaining accurate employee records
- Providing backup to receptionist when needed
- Provide assistance with any other assigned duties from the Controller
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Being able to keep information confidential is a requirement
- Must be willing to learn, provide excellent customer service to employees, have a positive and pleasant attitude
