Accounts Payable - New Iberia, LA
Duties & Responsibilities
- Review and verify delivery tickets and invoices for accuracy.
- Route tickets or invoices to appropriate manager for approval when necessary.
- Input approved invoices into accounting program.
- Print batch report, review and make revisions as needed.
- Deliver invoices and tickets to Assistant Controller for check issuance.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain vender files.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Assist with month end closing.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.
- Other various duties as directed.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal.
- Adaptability and Dependability.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Planning and organization.

- Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic
Requirements
- High School diploma.
- College courses in accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting role required. General knowledge of accounts procedures.
