As a key contributor to our organization, you will be responsible for proactively engaging with customers to obtain essential purchase order information, facilitating the smooth and efficient processing of invoices, and following up on invoices to. Your efforts will play a vital role in preventing delays and maintaining positive client relationships.

This position is based at the LRS HQ location in Springfield, Illinois. Your compensation will consist of a base salary plus paid overtime, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Proactive Customer Engagement:
  • Initiate contact with customers to gather purchase order information necessary for accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to obtain any missing details, ensuring comprehensive and error-free invoicing.
• Accounts Receivable Collection:
  • Employ various communication methods to follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
  • Work closely with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and facilitate timely payments. o Update system notes with accurate and detailed information on all collection inquiries.
• Invoice Management:
  • Review invoices for accuracy and completeness, making necessary changes as needed.
  • Resubmit invoices promptly to avoid payment delays.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain organized records of customer interactions and payment commitments.
  • Generate regular reports to track collection efforts and outstanding balances.

Applicant Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Two years’ experience in an accounts receivable or invoice collections role. Experience processing invoices and collecting payments from large companies (B2B) will make you stronger candidate.
• Two years’ experience inputting customer orders, processing purchase orders, and creating invoices.
• Two years’ experience using Microsoft office tools – Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM will make you a stronger candidate.
• Permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer. No visa sponsorships are available.

Organization Structure and Interfaces: You will be a member of a five-person software billing team, and you will report to a director, who reports to the Chief Administrative Officer.

You will interact daily with LRS Senior leadership, team members, sales managers, account executives, and customers in completing the tasks of your role.

Salary range: $43,000-46,000 annually plus paid overtime and full benefits. This range represents the low and high for this position. The salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, experience and performance.
