Rockford Center is a 138-bed mental health facility located in Newark, DE, providing easy access to a full complement of inpatient and partial behavioral health programs for children and adolescents, adults, and older adults. Rockford is the only child inpatient behavioral health facility in DE, offers an experienced and tenured senior management team, and serves New Castle County and northern Maryland.

This is a Full Time position that reports directly to the CFO.
In this rewarding role, you will provide
Key Responsibilities include:
Collects and processes information to facilitate Accounts Payable processing.-
Codes and prepares accounts payable items, including set up of new vendor files.

Reconciles accounts payables to vendor monthly statements and responds to vendor inquiries on payment status and other related matters.

Prepares and processes accounts payable checks on a weekly basis.

Collects and processes information for accounts payable accruals to facilitate monthly closings.
-
Closes accounts payable system on a monthly basis and reconciles to general ledger.
-
Prepares and reconcile 1099s for contractual vendors.

Keys all financial transactions including adjustments and cash.

Keys patient accounting entries for ancillary and outpatient services and makes necessary corrections on room and bed charges as directed.

Files daily and monthly reports in a timely manner.

Serves as a back-up to payroll.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Working knowledge of payroll best practices Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel Working knowledge of Kronos, Lawson, and Enterprise check request system Strong work ethic and team player High degree of professionalism Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills Ability to communicate with various levels of management
