Description
The Patient Service Representative is responsible for a variety of administrative functions and patient care activities in support of the clinic to include – checking-in/out patients, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments and assisting clinical staff to provide support for the efficient delivery of patient care. Opening and closing the office. The Patient Services Representative will ensure waiting area is always neat; answers phones to include scheduling/following up appointments; enters patient demographics into EMR. The Patient Service Representative is responsible for collecting co-pays, prepayment and any outstanding balances. The Patient Services Representative will work the assigned ‘buckets’ in the EMR.
