Information/Cybersecurity Specialist - Sr.
Location: Dayton, OH
We are seeking an experienced Information/Cybersecurity Specialist 4 to join our team in Dayton, OH. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or information technology, along with 10 years of related experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, conducting, and accomplishing assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identifying where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct passive evaluations (compliance audits) and active evaluations (vulnerability assessments)
- Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and support obtaining certification and accreditation of systems

- Apply and execute Risk Management Framework adherent to CD 503
- Perform extensive analyses to validate established security requirements and recommend additional security requirements and safeguards
- Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each Government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports
- Periodically conduct a review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed
Requirements:
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or information technology
- 10 years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of NISPOM and its implementation
- Training and experience with RMF
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This full-time position is Monday through Friday and operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Limited travel may be required.
