Rippowam Animal Hospital is looking to add a Veterinary Receptionist to our Front Desk team! The ideal candidate will be punctual, reliable, personable, and have a great attitude and work ethic. A desire to learn, the ability to multitask in a busy atmosphere and the drive to advance are key requirements. Responsibilities and Duties
· Greet clients and their pets in a friendly, positive manner
· Field all phone calls and make appointments/take messages as appropriate
· Accept payments at time of service and balance cash drawers at end of day
· Monitor hospital email
· Ensure the waiting room of the hospital remains calm and organized
Qualifications
· Outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for animal care
· Ability to perform clerical work with speed and accuracy
· Excellent phone and computer skills
· Ability to work some Saturdays
· Two plus years’ experience at an animal hospital preferred
· Experience with Cornerstone a plus
